<u>COURSE CONTENT</u>

<li>Structural anatomy and physiology of the skin – with reference to key surrounding structures including arterial and venous vasculature.</li>
<li>To understand how this anatomical knowledge can be applied to practice to improve patient safety and reduce the rate of complications.</li>
<li>To understand the indications and presentation that would indicate a client is a suitable candidate for PRP.</li>
<li>To understand the physiology of the wound healing cascade.</li>
<li>Understand the full range of potential side effects from common and mild to rare and severe.</li>
<li>To understand common conditions leading to hair loss and how these can be tackled with PRP therapy</li>
<li>To develop confidence with skills of consultation prior to treatment, including giving information about likely results and treatment courses.</li>
<li>To undertake supervised facial assessment with particular reference to the hair and skin and use this to help to identify suitable patients.</li>
<li>To be comfortable injecting in the scalp and throughout the face.</li>
<li>Be confident delivering aftercare advice and instruction for your clients.</li>
